Get It Done is an arts collective and community organisation, who've been running creative programmes across Manchester since 2017.
We build platforms for voices to be heard, make grassroots creative tools accessible to wider audiences and work with communities to spark lasting change.
As part of their project, Can You Hear Me Now?, working with Manchester Central Foodbank they're building an online archive of collected stories and experiences of poverty, speaking to everyone from asylum seekers to refugees, families to people in temporary accommodation, and understanding how the pandemic has affected them.
Through their Creative Activity Packs campaign, they distribute activity packs to individuals across the Greater Manchester area through food parcels. These creative workbooks have been designed to promote mindfulness, creativity and critical thinking on how we can work together in our communities to achieve change.
